Merchant Marine Museum Anderson Indiana is no longer in operation Museum is situated on Jackson Street in Anderson, Indiana. It is devoted to the U.S. merchant seaman of World War II, who volunteered to deliver the cargos of men and supplies overseas.

The museum was founded in 1979 by George R. Canaday, along with his brother Joe R. Canaday, who served in the Merchant Marines. They worked together on many ships, as seamen first and later as officers.
